This time I decided to write in english because of a promise I did to new friends, Tomasz and Krisz.. Sorry if it's not perfect!

Thank to our sign "french travelers looking for a place to sleep" we slept in a warm place the first night... but only one night, it was the deal! So, the following day we camped near the sea. The temperature was about -15 degrees! The ground was so frozen than I broke a tent pole!!

992 : Notre premier petit campement, Tromso

At the morning our sleeping bags were a bit wet, and to be honest the night was not very good. Fortunetly, we found another place to stay: a small and nice cottage, warm and homely! Okay, okay... it was not exactly that. Only a cube of ciment without door built to protect a waterpomp which doesn't work anymore, the place was quite dirty and not warm at all! However the view was beautiful: imagine a fjord with montains behind! Therefore we made this inhospitable building a confortable home.

We thought we would spend the new year here, but the fate had other plans for us. We met a girl, called Siham, in the library. She heard us speaking french so she came to see us because she is french too. She studies in Tromso with an erasmus exchange. That's how we were invited to spend the new year with some students. We ate a good dinner and then we went out. Finnish people have a tradition for this event: they make a lot of fireworks: it bursts all side!

Feu d'artifice pour le 31!

I know I'm on late but: "happy new year!"

Two days later we left Norway!
